Beyond representing our restidents campus-wide, the Residence Hall Association also attends conferences around the nation representing the university and our Pacific region (PACURH). At each conference, we attend business meetings, programs, roundtables, workships, hear keynote speakers, and more. The knowledge gained from each conference is brought back to Pacific, to share new ideas and methods areas of: programming, diversity, group dynamics, social justice, community building, leadership development, recognition, and much more. Along the way, we are hopeful to bring back a few regional and national awards for the University of the Pacific. PACURH Conference(Pacific Affiliate of Colleges and University Residence Halls)This is the fall regional conference where colleges and university from member schools along the Pacific Coast as well as British Columbia and Australia join together to share ideas and learn from one another. Showing Pacific spirit is a must! Attendance may range from 4-10 delegates school. Mini No Frills ConferenceThis is also a regional conference, however is more strictly a business conference geared towards legislation and awards for the regional and national level. Attendance for this conference usually 3-5 delegates per school. NACURH Conference(National Association for College and University Residence Halls) This is the National conference where students from all over the country attend (including Australia and Canada). Showing regional pride is important at this conference. This is a much larger conference with attendance around 6-10 per school.
